Before I go on, I know that it's Thanksgiving weekend here in the States .... but the Internet doesn't come to a grinding halt for U.S. holidays.

Now that we have that out of the way ... on to the good stuff.

A new company, Agloco, launched just about a day ago, and it has the potential to be even larger than the company it was originally based on.

The original company, AllAdvantage, reportedly paid out over $100,000,000.00 in commissions ( that's one-hundred million dollars ), to its membership of over 10,000,000 ( that's ten million ) members.

How'd they do those numbers?

Here's the short version ... Basically, you downloaded an AdBar that displayed advertisements when you surfed online. The advertisers paid the company, the company paid you a part of the ad revenue and you got paid by the hour for just surfing with the AdBar turned on.

Throw in 5 levels of referrals, all paying out a portion of surfing revenue earned ... and you can see how this became hyper viral.

The problem, and why the company fell apart back then was due to a lack of advertising revenue. This was around the time of the dot-com bust ... bad timing.

This time around online advertising is actually proven, technology is light-years ahead of what it once was, and the online marketplace as a whole is bigger than it has ever been.

In the late 1990's into 2000 I was paid several thousand dollars as an AllAdvantage member ... and I got in nearly 6 months after it launched.

The first time, I hesitated .... I'm not making that mistake again.

P.P.S. I just found out that you can minimize their ViewBar whenever you want to, which is great! So, when it's work time you can minimize it and focus, but when it's play time you can turn it on and earn some cash just for surfing around aimlessly. How cool is that?
